Bike MS Rides

September 16-17, 2017

The National MS Society’s Bike MS: Country Challenge is an annual fundraising bike ride event for 300 cyclists in Morris and Somerset Counties in New Jersey. This ride started and ended at The Madison Hotel and four different routes were offered through 20 permitted municipalities. Food and beverage were provided to the cyclists at four rest stops and at the start/finish each day as well. Vendor coordination included route marketing, entertainment and portable toilets. Safety plans were implemented including medical, support and gear, and police escorts.

The National MS Society’s Bike MS: Coast the Coast is an annual bike ride event for 800 fundraising cyclists traveling 25, 50, 85, or 170 miles down the New Jersey coastline. This ride included three event sites, 14 rest stops plus severe weather back-up shelters, and approximately 80 municipalities.

Events with Ginger & Co. was brought on four months prior to the bike ride event to confirm and map the bike route, submit permits to the towns and counties, work with each’s police department, coordinate with all rental, catering, transportation, entertainment and other vendors, and organize the massive materials and signage needs required for an event spanning 170 miles.

In the last 10 months ECG helped us implement two Bike MS events in New Jersey.  They made sure that we had over 390 miles of routes through 100+ municipalities and that over 1,000 cyclists were well-supported along their rides.  Bike MS is about a LOT of moving parts and participants – and ECG made sure everything was in place to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
