The 14th Street Y Gala was a nonprofit event attended by nearly 200 people at the Y’s rooftop and theater. In 2016, we handled the printed journal and silent auction coordination and in 2015, we managed the development of the run-of-show and ran the evening’s program, including speaker wrangling, Text-to-Pledge and production cues. Both years, in addition to keeping the client on deadline, we coordinated the catering needs and materials for the event designer’s vision to transform the space for this New York event.
I hired Events with Ginger & Co. just nine weeks before our annual gala and when many critical components of the planning process we still in flux. I was grateful from day one that they took our project on on short notice and with such a compressed timeline, but not nearly as grateful as I have been since. There is a peace of mind that comes with knowing you have another set of eyes on every detail, and many details you never even thought to consider. Ginger and her team managed both the planning process and the event itself with care and diligence, ensuring that it looked professional, that the program was successful and that guests went home happy and impressed. We've gotten feedback that this was our most well-executed event yet, and there's no question that it's because we brought Events with Ginger & Co. on to make that possible.
